Welcome to Hinman Funeral Home

"Because everyone needs somewhere to turn when they lose a loved one."

For over 65 years, Hinman Funeral Home has provided dedicated and compassionate care to families of Princess Anne and surrounding communities. Our funeral home offers a range of personalized services for families to honor their loved ones and remember a life well lived. Whether you’re making your arrangements at time of need or in advance, our caring staff is here to walk with you through the journey.

Started by James Hinman and his wife Erlene, in 1958, the funeral home was designed to feel like a real home rather than a typical funeral home. Now in the second generation of family ownership, we offer modern facilities and can handle any and all requests.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of James L. Hinman, Jr.

Jimmy had a love for his community, and led a life of service to others, and we understand that he was a special part of the experience you have come to know with Hinman Funeral Home, P.A. Please know that we remain committed to providing the compassionate care and support you deserve. We want to assure the community that Hinman Funeral Home remains available for all your needs.

Existing pre-arrangements are held by the funeral home and Hebron Savings Bank in Princess Anne, MD and remain protected.

We will continue to operate with the care and dedication that Jimmy provided and that has been the hallmark of Hinman Funeral Home since its founding in 1958.

Jamie was employed at Princess Anne Memorials where he sandblasted and installed monuments. He is deeply missed, but always in our hearts.
