Jeffery Lane “Jeff” White, Jr. of Wenona, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026.

Born in Crisfield and raised in Wenona, he was a son of Jeffery Lane “Jeff” White, Sr. of Wenona and the late Joyce Benton White who preceded him in death on March 15, 2021.

Jeff was a 2001 graduate of Washington High School and attended the former NASCAR Technical Institute, now Universal Technical Institute, in Mooresville, NC. He worked as a correctional officer at Eastern Shore Correctional Institution for nine years and was a waterman.

He lived life to the fullest with a spirit of adventure that touched everyone around him. He found joy in dirt track racing and was an avid fan of wrestling. Some of his happiest moments were spent at the beach, boardwalk, especially playing games in the boardwalk arcades. His true passion was working on the water, where he felt most at home. Above all, he cherished time with his parents and family, who meant everything to him.

Along with his father, he is survived by his sister, Julia Keaser/Chris of Crisfield; grandmother, Julia Ann Dolby of Salisbury; girlfriend, Heather Kane of Salisbury; aunts and uncles, Sunny Anne White/Steve, Rose Taylor, and William “Willie” Benton/Susan; nieces, Cassidy White Thoma/Joe and Jasmine Keaser; nephews, William Keaser, Tyler Keaser, Michael Keaser, and Jace Keaser; special cousins, Christopher Benton and Billy Walters; sister-in-law, Beverly White; special friends, Wayne Hebb and Terry Daniels, III; and several cousins.

Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tony White; grandparents, Sonny White, Shirley White, and William “Spooky” Benton; uncles and aunt, William “Andy” Benton and Stevie and Sheila Webster.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Wenona at 1 PM with a public viewing from 12-1 PM. Pastor Dave Webster will officiate and interment will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are to be made to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Wenona, MD.
