Obituary

Dames Quarter – Wyatt Webster Shores died at home on May 1, 2024. He was 23 years old. He was a hard worker and the light that kept his family going. He loved arrow heading with family, crabbing, fishing, and working hard and playing too. He never knew a stranger. Please say a prayer that he went to heaven and has found peace!

We appreciate the love and support of everyone, and it will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his parents, Jackie Carew and Rosemary Shores, sisters Nikki Carew (John Sterling) of Denton, MD and Brandi Murphy of Alabama, aunt Rosalee Carew,  niece and nephew, Eulalie and Bram, great nieces, Brianna, Blaykleigh, Brynnleigh, great aunt, Maxine Shores, Uncles Johnny Shores and his wife Cheryl of Salisbury, Bobby Shores of St. Petersburg, and Charles Webster of Pocomoke, cousin Lauren Shores and her wife Elizabeth, special friends, Jackie Carew, Dustin and Hannah Stevens, Denise Williams and Sean Hampton, Jacob, Ray Rourke, Chris Jones, Shane Abbott, and Timoty Hamilton, and David and Phillip Horner and Ryan Marshall.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastor David Webster will officiate. Interment will follow in the Webster Family Cemetery in Dames Quarter.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Deal Island-Chance Volunteer Fire Dept. P.O. Box 128, Deal Island, MD 21821.
