Deal Island - Winston ("Do Do") W. Taylor, 81, of Wenona, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

Born in Salisbury on May 11, 1943, he was raised in Wenona and was a son of the late Zack and Nora Parkinson Taylor.

Throughout his life he worked in numerous fields. He was a waterman, a leversman with C.J. Langenfelder, a truck driver for Delmarva Oil, and lastly worked for the Somerset County Sanitary District. He was also a lifelong mechanic, working at the Chance One Stop and also at his shop at home, Taylor's Auto. He was a member of St. Pauls – Wenona

He is survived by his wife of almost 64 years, Hope Taylor of Wenona; a daughter, Lori Mansfield and husband James of Mt. Vernon; a son, Daniel Taylor of Dames Quarter; 6 grandchildren, Chelsea Mansfield, James Mansfield, Jr. and his girlfriend Caroline, Thomas Brumwell, III, Kimberly Maury and her husband Vishal, Danielle Mechalske and her husband Josh, and Ryan Taylor and his wife Brianna; 11 great-grandchildren, Briley, Camden, Giana, Madison, Alayna, Ella, Maverick, Caiden, Kylo, River, and Gus; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son, David Taylor; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Taylor; and his siblings, Warren Taylor, Zack Taylor, Jr., Hardon Taylor, Dickie Taylor, Mike Taylor, Estelle Horner, Pearl Taylor and Beck Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 2 PM at St. Paul's Church in Wenona where a viewing will be from 1-2 PM. Pastor Dave Webster will officiate. Interment will follow in the St. Paul's Church Cemetery.
