William David Turkington Jr. 60 of Salisbury died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011.
Born in Salisbury on Oct.31, 1950, he was the son of William David "Bill" Turkington Sr. and Hazel Bozman Turkington. Mr. Turkington had been employed as a designer at Salisbury Pewter.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Bonnie Ward of Seaford, Rebecca West of Delmar and Nancy Brady of Hebron; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, where friends may call one hour prior to service time. Interment will be held in St. Peter's United Methodist Cemetery in Oriole. The Revs. Tim Shawyer and John Kalfayan will officiate.
