IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William "Peewee"
R. Bozman
April 24, 1954 – January 2, 2024
William R. Bozman, known affectionately as PeeWee to his family and friends, age 69, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD with family at his side. Formerly of Dames Quarter, MD, William was born on April 24, 1954 to the late William Clifford and Eva Lee Bozman. His early life was marked by his love of nature that would define his love of the water.
He is survived by his wife, Karina Rospigliosi Bozman, and son, Dominic Bozman, of Annapolis, MD and daughter, Amber Taylor (Robert), and three grandchildren: Lucas Taylor, Lyssa Taylor, and Lanna Davila all of Aberdeen, MD. In addition, he is also survived by four sisters; Libby Parks of Princess Anne, MD, Billie Miller (Larry) of Salisbury, MD, Irene Vetra (Lee), and Bonnie Wells (Bobby) of Princess Anne, MD; three brothers; Everett Bozman of Champ, MD, Jerry Bozman (Marybeth) and Charles (Peanut) Bozman (Terry) of Princess Anne, MD; one uncle, Edward Bozman of Dames Quarter, MD; mother-in-law, Isabel Lino of Arnold, MD and two brothers-in-law, Milko Rospigliosi of Baltimore, MD, Bruno Rospigliosi (Zebun) of Annapolis, MD; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and several special friends. William was preceded in death by sisters; Doris Ann Bozman, Margaret Vaughan, and Terrie Bozman; and a nephew, Robert Thomas Wells, Jr. (Little Bobby).
William was a 1972 graduate of Washington High School. After high school he worked on the water then switched to driving trucks for Corbett Breeders. He then returned to working on the water.
The greatest love of his life was his son, Dominic. He enjoyed the times they shared together hunting and fishing or talking for hours. His dad was his biggest fan as he came to all his football games and swim meets cheering from the sidelines. There was no greater love between a father and son. Dominic always said, "He is the best dad ever." William also had a passion for the outdoors. His greatest passion was the love of being an avid waterman. He had a true connection with nature where he found comfort in the peace and serenity it brought.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Treuth at Delmarva Heart and the staff at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center and Gilchrist Hospice Care for their loving care of William.
