Anyone who knows of William(Billy) Francis Hinman, knows he was a fearless man, full of adventure and always a fan of Lynard Skynard. Whether it be the music he listened to, the shirts he wore, or the feeling in his heart, there was always a "Free Byrd" moment. Billy lost in his battle against cancer on Sunday, April 24, 2016, at the age of 64.
Born November 26, 1951, his mother JoAnna Hinman, and Father Charles Leroy Hinman, Billy graduated Crisfield High School in 1969 and moved on to serve as a Vietnam War Veteran for three and a half years. After leaving the service, Billy found work as a carpenter and electrician for Tyson's Foods in Snow Hill, Md. Billy retired in 2002 and lived the rest of his years with his loving family.
Billy is survived by his wife, Joyce Agnew Hinman, son William Hinman and daughter-in-law Barbie Hinman, son Charles Agnew, daughter Vicki Agnew, daughter Chrisy Hughes and son-in- law Ed Hughes. Billy's spirit lives on in the grandchildren he always taught to fly, Richard Hurley Jr., Jennifer Hughes, Coty Hughes, Barry Outten Jr., Kayla Hinman, Marcus Culbertson Jr., and
William Hinman Jr., as well as his great-grand daughter, Aubrey Rolleston and many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. He was also preceded in death by 4 brothers Jerry Hinman Sr.,
Richard Hinman, Charles W. Hinman,and Tommy Hinman. He is also survived by (1) Brother and (4) Sisters, John (Jack) Hinman of Crisfield, MD, Beverly Carnes and husband Bob of Ellabell, GA
Dinah (Peachy) Neal and husband Vincent of Salisbury,MD., JoLynne Vincent and husband David of Centreville, VA. and Becky Sea back and husband Gregory of Houston, TX.
Billy's wishes of being cremated are being upheld this week. There will be no formal funeral held. A memorial will be held at a later date. As a family we would like to thank the lord for being with us during these past few weeks. We would also like to extend a thank you to all of the phone calls and prayers that we have received. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be
made to Coastal Hospice, PO Box, 1733, Salisbury, Md. 21802.
