Delmar-Whitney Lynn Bennett, 23 of Delmar died in December 2010. Born in Seaford, Delaware. she was the daughter of Franklin and Robin Bennett. She was a homemaker, attended Delmar High School, and was the mother of three.
In addition to her parents Whitney is survived by her children, Brian Tanner and Aaliyah Tanner of Laurel, Delaware, and Jayla Koole of Preston, Md. She is also survived by three sisters, Christina Bounds of Salisbury, Michelle Fothergill of Delmar, and Jamie Bennett of Delmar, one grandmother, Shirley James of Hebron, and one grandfather Kenneth Bennett Sr. of Delmar Delaware, and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Grandfather William Bounds, her Step-Grandfather Cody James, and her Grandmother Margaret Bennett.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday April 16, at 4:00 PM., in the Nelson Methodist Church in Hebron. Pastor Jim Riley will Officiate.
