Obituary

Sam (Warren Samuel) Chamberlin passed away suddenly and peacefully. with his wife of 56 years by his side, on the evening of August 5, 2014.
Sam lived his entire life on the Eastern Shore. In addition to being strongly devoted to his family and Princess Anne community, Sam served his country during the Korean War as a member of the US Army Signal Corp. Sam contributed to his community as a member of the First Baptist Church in Princess Anne and as a Past Master of the Manokin Masonic Lodge No 106 in Princess Anne
A certified Rifle Instructor, Sam particularly valued his time with teaching children as a 4-H Marksmanship coach. His employment included positions as a welding
instructor at the Somerset County Vocational School, and as a welder and machinist at Chris Craft Corp and Robertson Bothers Machine Shop and Foundry. Sam enjoyed traveling with his wife, including a trip less
than a week ago to Cape May, NJ. He was skilled in many trades including welding, machining, carpentry, woodworking and mechanics, which enabled him to build his own home in 1962 in which he lived with
his wife until his passing.
Sam, born on January 26, 1926 in Westover, MD, son of the late Lloyd C.Chamberlin Sr. and Bessie Chamberlin, He is survived by his wife Mary Bozman Chamberlin of Princess Anne, MD, daughter Karen (Michael Bingham) of Apex, NC, sons Gary of Virginia Beach, VA, and Keith (Roxanne Fulcher) of Takoma Park, MD, as well as grandsons Neal M. and Kyle P Bingham of Apex, NC, step-granddaughter Shana Fulcher (Kevin Dwyer),
step great granddaughters Kassidy E. and Juliet H. Dwyer, and step great grandson Kevin P. Dwyer III, of Takoma Park, MD. He is also survived by a brother, Lloyd C. Chamberlin Jr., Salisbury, MD, and niece Dianna America of West Virginia. a late nephew was Lloyd A. Chamberlin, PortLucia, FL.
A viewing is scheduled for 10AM, Monday August 11, 2014 at the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD. The funeral service will begin at 11AM with a Masonic Memorial Service. The funeral will be conducted by Pastor Jamie DeVaughn. Interment will be in Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne.
