Princess Anne Md.—Walter H. "TINK" Porter died Wed. Jan. 19th,at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Born in Princess Anne on Dec. 21, 1926, he was the son of the late Lynn and Martha Hedges Porter.
Better known as "Tink," Walterwas a farmer and a had worked with Warren Russell building truck bodies. He was a member of the Somerset County Farm Bureau, "Tink" was presented the Soil Preservation Award. His favorite pass-time was hunting with his friends and spending time with his dog Rascal.
He is survived by his Wife Addie of 61 years, his daughters Gail and her husband Tom Hall of Westover, and Joyce Harrington of Princess Anne, Nephew Larry and his wife Donna Thomas, Great Nephews Lance and Matthew Thomas, one sister Barbara Ann Dashiell of Princess Anne, and his beloved Dog "Rascal."
A Funeral Service will be held Sat. Jan 22nd at 2:00 PM at the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Tim Shawyer will officiate. Interment will be held in the Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne.
