Virginia Ellen Dorsey, 77, of here passed away on Monday,  November 27, 2023 at Alice Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield, MD.

Born in Salisbury, MD, she was the daughter of the late El Kennah and Pauline (Wilson) Parks. Ellen worked as an X-ray Technologist at McCready Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Preston Parks, brothers-in-law, Woody Barnes, Bruce Webster, Norwood Beauchamp, and Robert Laird.

Ellen is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert "Fish" Dorsey, daughter Stephanie Taylor, grandchildren Danielle Miller, and Allen "AJ" Miller, Jr, great-grandchildren Adrian Miller and Declan Gulyas, and sisters Debbie Barnes, Leah Webster, Diane Beauchamp, and Libby Parks and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Quinton Cemetery near Pocomoke. Pastor Steve Willing will officiate.
