Obituary

Violet Bowe of Princess Anne, formerly of Haverhill, Mass., went home to meet her heavenly father. She died at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, on her 79th birthday, Friday February 1st. in the year of our Lord 2013. Born in Haverhill, Mass., on February 1, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Abigail Williams McNeil.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frank Bowe. Daughters, Anna Webster and Husband Mark from Deal Island, Clair Coop and husband Gordon from Washington, Step-daughter, Karen Bowers and husband Wayne from North Carolina. Sons, William H. Bowe and Marie from Parsonsburg, Phillip Champagne and Elizabeth from NC., David Champagne and Sherry from Arizonia, and Don Champagne and Debbie from NC. She is also survived by a beloved and devoted sister Susan E. Clough and Otis of Salisbury, MD and a brother Frank McNeil of Portsmouth, NH. Violet leaves behind her 20 much loved grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews along with a longtime friend Catherine Riggin. A special grandaughter Elizabeth Webster lived with and was the care provider for her grandmother.
Preceding her in death were her parents, ten brothers, one sister, and her beloved Father and Mother In-law, William and Anna Bowe.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 7th. in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, at 1:00 PM. The Rev. Linwood "Sonny" Benton will officiate.
