IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ted Allen
Briddelle
April 29, 1966 – July 23, 2024
Princess Anne - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ted Allen Briddelle (Tab) born April 29, 1966 who departed this life on July 23, 2024. He was the son of Art Briddelle (Cheryl) and the late Bonnie Webster Walters. He was preceded in death by his sister Stephanie Walters Johnson. Left to cherish his memories are wife Stephanie Briddelle, daughter Kacee Briddelle (children Kayleigh, Mya, Andrew), son Tyler Briddelle, step-daughters Amber Andrew, Amanda Hastings and Kayla O'Brien who he loved like his own, sister Traci Martin (Bobby), brothers Billy Walters (Ashley), Bobby Walters Jr. (Tammy) step-brother Michael Smith (Melissa), numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was especially fond of his favorite niece Katie Martin and cousin Billy Anderson. Tab graduated from Washington High School in 1984 and was part of the 1982 State Champion baseball team. He was known for his athleticism and passion for playing baseball and softball. He cherished playing with his Dad in a softball tournament at the age of 15. He also played in a fast pitch softball league for Buck's Store team that were National Champions in 1991. Tab served in the Army for four years and then came home to start his career on the water, which he loved to do. He worked for many different captains over the years who all praised his skill and work ethic. His last day on the water was working for Captain Grant Corbin and wife Ellen, who Tab had a very special relationship with.
Tab loved spending time with his family and reminiscing with his Dad, and whoever else would listen, about his glory days. He could remember every hit, who was pitching, his teammates and every play he made. Tab never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and community. We will carry him in our hearts forever.
Our family would like to thank the Dept. of Natural Resources, Coast Guard and all the local watermen who helped bring Tab home.
