Princess Anne – Sharon M. Barnes, 75, of here passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, MD. Born in Salisbury, MD, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Collins) Waller.

She was a graduate of Washington High School. Sharon worked in the cafeteria for the Somerset County School District, as a dietary aide and cook at Manokin Manor, and lastly, at Walmart North Salisbury in the deli before her retirement. She had a special love for all animals, especially horses and the family dog, Sarge.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bryan Waller.

She is survived by two daughters,  Tracy Helton Riley and Shelly Bobbi Helton, both of Princess Anne, MD,  5 grandchildren Shannon Rothgeb and her partner Remar Waters (Baltimore, MD) Amanda Waller her partner Jeremy Smith (Delmar, DE) Brandon Nauman partner Taylor Baker (Salisbury) Courtney Webster husband Tyler Webster (Salisbury,MD)and Dustin Riley (Iron City, TN), seven great grandchildren Ka'Breyia Claire Riley (Iron City, TN) Gabriel Allen, JT Smith (Salisbury,MD) Shawn, Carter, Scarlett and Olivia Webster (Salisbury,MD), four sisters Margaret Parks, Patricia Waller, Georgianna Odom and Vicki Taylor and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Bonnie Stone will officiate.
