Sandra Ann Snyder, 72, died suddenly at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. She was surrounded by loving family members at the time of her death.

Born in Baltimore on October 12, 1937, Sandra Reinhardt married Raymond (Pat) Snyder in 1955. Residing in Ferndale for most of their lives, they later retired and moved to Princess Anne.

Sandy and her husband enjoyed traveling. She also enjoyed being at home surrounded by family, friends, food and chaos. Sandy brought great love, laughter and appreciation to every life she touched. Since 1968, Sandy's house was never without a beloved Sheltie dog.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Reinhardt and mother Josephine Myers Reinhardt Lowman.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond L. Snyder of Princess Anne; son, Raymond L. Snyder, Jr. of Belcamp, Md.; daughters, Ellen Schmitt of Princess Anne and Laura Kaufmann of Queen Anne, Md; and her sisters, Nona LeShear of Ferndale and Rosalie Veillette of Pasadena, Md.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stewart Bramble, Stephanie Schmitt, Shawn Bramble, Courtney Swick, Raymond Patrick Snyder, Joshua Snyder, Katherine Kaufmann, Rebecca Kaufmann, Jason Schmitt, Jennifer Schmitt, thirteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews including Tammy Ferry and Pam Bageant.

Sandra was a member of the Eastern Star.
