Samuel K. Russell, 72, of Princess Anne, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2023, at his home. Beloved husband of Debbie (Rathell) Russell for 42 years. Born February 8, 1951, in Baltimore City, he was the loving son of the late Samuel M. Russell & Hazel F. (Walker) Fedock. Sam attended Southern High School then in 1970 enlisted in the United States Army. He was a home improvement contractor for over 40 years. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Brian Russell, John Russell, Raymond Criss, Andrea Russell, Michael Russell, Paula Horton, and Joseph Brown; his 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; his sisters, Nina Dovell, Margret Russell, Linda Barker and the predeceased Peggy Mayes, Carolyn Hood and brother Darrell Russell. Sam was an avid Ravens and Orioles fan and enjoyed his time spent umpiring all levels of baseball. He was a true patriot and loved his family dearly.
As per Sam's request, there will be no funeral. The family will reach out with details on a celebration of life for Sam.
