Delmar – Rupert Allen Taylor, 66, of here passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, MD.

Born in Salisbury, MD, he was the son of the late Theodore "Ted" and Pauline (Webster) Taylor. He worked as a maintenance man in the poultry industry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Anna Mae Cox, and brother Theodore F. Taylor, Jr.

He is survived by his son, Allen Michael Taylor, grandson Cody Powell, brother Robert "Bobby" Taylor (Terri) and sister Joan Taylor, all of Delmar.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Chance, MD where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Rock Creek Cemetery. Pastor Terri Barnes will officiate.
