Royce "Roy" Windsor, Sr. 70 of Princess Anne, died, Wednesday, May 9th. at his home. Born, May 13, 1941, in Marion, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Tressie Elliott Windsor.
Royce was a member of the former Old Trinity United Methodist Church in Marion, a life member of the Princess Anne Volunteer Fire Co., and a U.S. Army Veteran. He owned and operated R.& S. Used Furniture Store, and also owned and operated Windsor's Gulf - Chevron Gas Station in Princess Anne for 35 years. He Loved Auctions, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sandy Windsor, three children, Christine Koller and her husband Karl, of Princess Anne, Roy Windsor, Jr. and wife Louise of Marion Station, and Glenn Windsor and wife Lynn, of Salisbury, six grandchildren, Jacy Koller, Christopher Windsor, Glenn Windsor, Heather Windsor, Heather Milligan, and Cristi Witt. He is also survived by two Brothers, Earl Windsor and wife Anne, of Hebron and Carlton Windsor, Sr. of Crisfield, two Sisters, Frances Talmo and husband Louie of Roxanna, De. and Peggy Disney of Salisbury, a Brother-In law Bill Wilson, and his Mother and Father In Law, Beatrice and Nevette Muir, of Rumbley and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents, were his Father-In law , Emory P. Meredith, four brothers, Robert "Bob" Windsor, James Weldon Windsor, William "Bill" Windsor and Thomas P. Windsor, a sister, Ann Boblaski and his sister in law, Linda Wilson.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday May 12th. at 2:00 PM. in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne. Rev. Tom Blakelock will officiate.
