Roy Dewitt Tarr, 50 of here died on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore. Born in Nassawaddox, he was the son of the late Harold D. Tarr and Gloria Lee Bailey Tarr. Mr. Tarr was a log truck driver and a former member of The Westover Moose and the Redmens. He was a devoted Uncle who loved his nieces and nephews. His late wife was Ginger Faye Tarr.
Roy is survived by three Sisters, Bobbie Jo Mandeville of Pocomoke, Roberta Lynn Merritt of Pocomoke and Ann Marie Tarr of Pocomoke as well as several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne where friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. The Rev. George Tasker will officiate. Interment will be in Downings Cemetery in Oak Hall, Va.
