Salisbury - Rosalie Bell Hurley, 81, of Salisbury died Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Born in Rehobeth, MD on September 10, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Wilson Bell and Emily Ellis Bell.
After graduating from Washington High School, Rosalie became a legal Secretary for many years and retired from Eastern Correctional Institution.
Rosalie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth I. Hurley and her son, R. Steven Hurley.
She is survived by her son Michael K. Hurley and Tammy Pusey Moore of Delmar, MD, her daughter Leigh Ann Elmore and her husband Steven of Chestertown, MD. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Racheal Collins (Kevin), Erika Hurley, Michael Elmore (Jenny), Joshua Elmore (Amy) and Brittney Bedair (Ahmed); eight great-grandchildren, Emma Stonnell, Riley Harshman, Dalton Tubbs, Elyse Elmore, Cecelia Elmore, Aurelia Elmore, Jonah Elmore, Aleyah Bedair, and a great-grandson to be, Everett Collins.
Rosalie is also survived by her sister Mary Lou Hurley (Larry), her brother-in-law Danny Hurley (Judy), her sister-in-law Ann Hurley, her brothers-in-law Howard Bozman and Bob Doyle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Rosalie requested no services be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Coastal Hospice at the Lake, 351 Deers Head Hospital Dr., Salisbury, MD 21801.
