Perryhawkin – Ronald Francis Riggin, 72, of here passed away on Sunday , January 17, 2021 at Harrison House of Snow Hill.
Born in Salisbury, MD on May 23, 1948, he was the son of the late Elton and Pearl (Brittingham) Riggin. He worked at Dresser Wayne Industries until their closing and then retired from Somerset County Detention Center. Ronnie was a U.S. Army Reserves Veteran and a member of the O.T. Beauchamp American Legion Post 94.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife Charlotte and his sister, Phyllis Beauchamp.
He is survived by his children, Steve Riggin and his wife Kris of Princess Anne, MD and Wendy Tribeck and her husband Matt of Salisbury, MD, grandchildren Matthew Tribeck, Cody Riggin, Nicholas (Katelynn) Riggin and a great granddaughter, Harper Burton and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne, MD. Rev. Gordon Nock will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Perryhawkin Christian Church, C/O Mrs. Dorothy Culver, P.O. Box 165, Princess Anne, MD 21853
