Pittsville—Ronald Lee Bedsworth,72, died Saturday, August 6th at his home. Born Oct. 27. 1938 in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Doris Frances and Thomas E. Bedsworth, Sr. Ronnie was a truck driver for the former Crown Cork and Seal and Perdue Farms. A U.S. AIR Force Veteran,and Ronnie loved his dogs Jake, Sam, Max, and Zachary.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 33 years Connie M. Bedsworth, a son Michael Bedsworth of Marysville Wa., a Daughter Patricia Mc Claughry, of Everett, Wa. Two step-sons Bill Hammond, Jr. and Eric Hammond both of Chambersburg, Pa. seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He also survived by two brothers, Thomas Edward Bedsworth, Jr. of Princess Anne, and William Bedsworth of Oriole, three sisters, Joanne Johnson, of Laurel, Del., Mary Horner, and Cindy Aurelio, both of Princess Anne. along with several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service Will be held at 1:00 PM. Thursday, Aug. 11th in the St. Peters United Methodist Cemetery, in Oriole . The Rev. Steve Willing will Officiate.
