Robert William Somers, Jr, 49 of Tyaskin, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 18, 2016. Born May 9, 1967 at McCready Hospital, he was the son of Robert William Somers, Sr. (Marylou) & Diane Schevel (Neil).
Mr. Somers was a truck driver.
He is survived by 3 children, Stephanie, Jeramiah, & Cheyenne Somers as well as their mother, DebbieThompson & stepfather Gary Shortt., siblings Richard Boswell (Teresa), Lynette Turner (Wayne), Norman Somers (Amanda), Jamie Shortt, & Carole Quillen. Mr. Somers is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, as well as aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 2 P.M. at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, Visitation is 1 hour prior to the service. Reverend Danny Travers will officiate. Interment is at Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne, Maryland.
