Robert L. Cheseldine, 87, died on June 12, 2014 at his home in Rumbley . Born in River Springs, MD, on November 21, 1926, he was the son of the late Annie and Andrew Cheseldine. Robert worked as a Building Inspector, He was a World War II Army Veteran, and a member of Manokin Lodge 106 AF & AM. in Princess Anne.
He is survived by his faithful living companion of 25 years, Ann Stewart., his children Robert Cheseldine Jr. and his wife Diane of Frederick, MD, Deborah Piazza and her husband Keith of Westminister, MD, Stephen Carl Cheseldine and his wife Debbie of Mount. Airy, MD, Elizabeth Fuqua and her husband Ken of Pasadena, MD, and James Benjamin Cheseldine of Salisbury. He is also survived by four Grandchildren, three Great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lucille and a brother John Cheseldine.
A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 18, 2014 at 12:00 PM in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at 11:50 AM. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Edward Aigner will officiate. Cremation will follow the service.
