Rita D. Winters, 69, of Salisbury died Wednesday, Jan. 30th., at the Coastal Hospice at the Lake, in Salisbury. Born in Roanoke, Va. she was the daughter of the late Masele and Edna Powers Balochi. Rita worked as an Administrative Assistant, for the Maryland State Police and Maryland Transportation Authority. She was a member of St. Peters United Methodist Church in Oriole.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Winters of Glen Burnie and a Son Al Winters of Seven Valleys, PA. two granddaughters Kaitlyn and Julianna Winters. She is also survived by two sisters, Vicki Miller and Theresa O'Connor both of Baltimore.
Preceding her in death were her Parents and her Husband Roger Alden Winters in 2010.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2nd. in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, at 1:00 PM. Friends may call from 11:00 till 1:00 PM. Interment will follow the service in the St. Peter's Cemetery in Oriole. Rev. Sally Stewart will officiate.
