HEBRON-R. "PEACHES" McINTYRE 87, died June 8, 2011 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. Born March 28, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Paige and Jeanette Smith. "Peaches" worked as a beautician, and a switch board operator for Sears & Roebuck. She was a member of the Faith Community Baptist Church, the Eastern Star, the American Legion Auxiliary post 94, and Peaches Scarlet Ladies Red Hat Queen, and a life member of the ladies Auxiliary Meuse VFW Post 194.
She is survived by one daughter Lynn Bragg and her husband Merle L. Bragg Jr., one grandson, Stephen H. Chadwick and his wife Melanie, two great-grandchildren, two nephews, Bobby and Kevin Mcintyre and one niece, Cathy McIntyre, many cousins, and her two beloved caregivers Amy Jefferson and Kayle Elliott. Her husband Horold J. McIntyre preceded her in death.
A service will be held 11:00 am., Saturday June 11, at the John Wesley United Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon. Friends may call Friday evening from 6:00PM. till 8:00pm. at the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, Md. Interment will be held in the Grace Episcopal Cemetery in Mt. Vernon.
