Richard J. Benton Jr, 48 died on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Salisbury on June 15, 1966, he was the son of Richard J. Benton, Sr. and Rebecca Cottman Benton. Mr. Benton was a beloved Son and Father. He had worked in construction as a roofer.
Mr. Benton is survived by his parents, Richard J. Benton Sr. and Rebecca Cottman Benton, a daughter, Whitney L. Benton of Salisbury, a half brother, Caleb J. Benton and a half sister, Caitlin A. Benton, both of Fort Myers, Florida.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Delmarva Evangelistic Church in Salisbury. The Rev. Linwood "Sonny" Benton will officiate.
