Fairmount – Ralph "Junebug" B. Lusk, Jr., of Fairmount, Md. was called home September 1, 2021. Born October 26, 1941 to Ralph B. Lusk, Sr. and Elsie Mae Lusk, he attended Washington High School in Princess Anne and later became a waterman. The water was his life and along with his beloved wife Alice, they owned and ran Lusk Seafood. Junebug was inducted into the Waterman's Hall of Fame, was a past coach for "Geno's" softball team and was an honorary member of the Fairmount Volunteer Fired Dept.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Flora Murphy, Josie East, and Shirley Price, a brother in law, Tom East and his son in law Larry Taylor.
He is survived by and leaves behind son Frank Lusk (Diane) and daughter Debbie Taylor, all of Fairmount granddaughters Nikki Mills (Robbie) and Christa Taylor (Wade), great grandchildren, Ethan Taylor, Meredith Taylor, Rowan Mills and Michael Mills, special childhood friend, Wayne Bozman, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 at Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne, Md. Rev. Paul Holland will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Fairmount Volunteer Fire Dept. or Fairmount Cemetery Fund.
