Peggy Elizabeth Beall, 85 of here died on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at her residence. Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur Feighenne and Mildred Elizabeth Sweaney Free and the adopted daughter of the late Vincent Free. Her late husband was William P. Beall. Mrs. Beall was formerly employed by the US government as a secretary for the wife of the former Speaker of the House. Her memberships included the Geneological Society of Prince Georges County and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by three sons, William Beall and James Vincent Beall of Princess Anne and Craig Robert Beall and his wife Lori of Concord, NC, and two grandchildren, John and James Beall.
A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. The Rev. Edward Aigner will officiate. Friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Interment will be held in Asbury United Methodist Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, followed by a reception in the Asbury church Hall.
