Pauline Ent Nichols, 96 of here died on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Somerset County on Feb. 21, 1918 she was a daughter of the late Joseph Ent and Libby Kirwan Ent. Her husband, Douglas D. Nichols died in 2007. Mrs. Nichols was a homemaker who was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Allen, the Eastern shore region Antique Car Club and the WSCS of the church. Mrs. Pauline was a devoted wife and mother , sister, grandmother and friend who loved to cut grass (5 acres) and maintained a well groomed lawn.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Bounds of Salisbury and Deborah Kreiser and her husband , Tom of Mardela, six grandchildren, Roger David Bounds, Stephen Eric Bounds, Rodney Allen Bounds, Michael Douglas Kreiser, Justin Thomas Kreiser and Kendall Ballard Kreiser, 8 greatgrandchildren, two sisters, Tealie Watson and Anne Mae Smith, both of Salisbury as well as several nieces and nephews and many dear friends and neighbors. Late brothers and sisters were Porter Ent, James Ent. Sarah Revell, John Ent, Dizzy Ent and her twin sister, Josephine Tingle.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th at 12:00 Noon in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne where friends may call from 11:00 to 12:00. The Rev. Lisa Jordan will officiate. Interment will be held in Allen Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Allen Asbury United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 123, Allen ,Md. 21810.
