PAUL MARTIN EBY
Princess Anne: Paul Martin Eby, 87 of here died Saturday, Sept 4th at Salisbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salisbury. Born on May 18, 1923 he was the son of Paul Raymond Eby and Elsie Yoder Eby. Mr. Eby had been employed with NASA on Wallops Island as a electronics technician. He was a member of Greenhill Church of the Brethren where he had served as a deacon and taught Sunday School. After World War II Mr. Eby did a lot of volunteer work spending a year in China doing relief work. He was also involved with the seagoing cowboys delivering heffer cattle to help feed the hungry in wartorn Germany and Italy.
Mr. Eby is survived by his wife of 60 years, Josephine Evans Eby, a daughter , Bonnie Kay Eby of Princess Anne, two sisters, Jean Mcbride of Decatur, Illinois and Deanna Taylor of Eden, two brothers, Clyde Eby of Snow Hill and Bradley Eby of Westover and several nieces and nephews. Late sons were David Eby and Jonathan M. Eby. Late brothers were Emory Eby, Marion Eby, Dale Eby and Ira Eby . A late sister was Pearl Overholt.
A memorial service will be held in the Greenhill Church of the Brethren Sanctuary in Westover on Wednesday, Sept. 8th at 3:00 PM.
Interment will be in Quinton Cemetery near Pocomoke. Friends may call at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne on Wednesday fron 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
