Obituary

Salisbury – Norman R. Briddell, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Princess Anne on August 1, 1931, he was the son of the late Paul and Anne (Bloodsworth) Briddell. Norman had worked at Cris-Craft, Crown, Cork & Seal and lastly as a driver for Filtronic Comtek in Salisbury. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Norman was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 94 in Princess Anne, Md., VFW, and St. John's Methodist Church in Fruitland, Md. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially Nick and Chloe.
He is survived by his loving wife Frances with whom he would have celebrated 55 years of marriage in March 15, 2018, grandson Nick Kellam and great-granddaughter Chloe Leigh Kellam, special son in law, Tim (Vicki) Kellam, his brothers, Paul, Bill (Emily) and Edward (Becky) Briddell, all of Salisbury, sister in laws, Gail Briddell, Betty Jane Briddell, Katherine Landing and Georgianna Zack.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Sharon Leigh Briddell Kellam (2004), sisters Thelma Briddell and Millie Garber, and brothers Jim and George "Cotton" Briddell.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Hinman Funeral Home, P.A. in Princess Anne, Md. where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Bonnie Stone will officiate.
