Obituary

Norma Lee Evans, 89, of Princess Anne died Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Coastal Hospice by the Lake in Salisbury, Md.
Born in Wenona, Md. on September 27, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie Richard Parkinson and Beulah Pearl White.
She was involved in the restaurant business for her entire working life and managed the English Grill in Salisbury and Westover for over 30 years. She loved her dogs, was an avid bingo player and a member of Pocahontas at the Tony Tank Council No. 61 of the Improved Order of the Redmen since 2008.
Norma is survived by her son, James R. (Randy) Brummitt and his wife Linda of Princess Anne, her grandchildren, Kathy Sanger and her husband Jon of Beverley, MA., Chrissy Watkinson of Princess Anne, Jimmy Brummitt and his wife Kate, of Poolesville, MD.,Jeff Brummitt and his wife April of Princess Anne and eight great grandchildren. She was married for over 50 years to Ralph Nelson Evans of Princess Anne who passed away on June 8, 2014 and was survived by his two sons Samuel E. Evans and his wife Pam of Charleston, SC and Raymond Evans and his wife Traci of Dover DE.
Late brothers and sisters were Nora May Taylor, Elmer Parkinson, Clifford Kirwin Parkinson, Johnnie Richard Parkinson, Donald Phillip Parkinson and Frederick Parkinson.
Services are scheduled for Friday, October 28, 2016 at 11 A.M. where friends may call from 9:30-11A.M. Interment will be at Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne, MD.
