Mona Lisa White, 55, of here passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at PRMC.
Lisa graduated from Salisbury University with a social work degree where she began her career as a drug and alcohol counselor with the Somerset County Health Dept. In 2011 she retired from the State of Maryland after 27 years of service for medical reasons. Her years with the state were spent at parole and probation and as an addictions counselor at E.C.I. Lisa was known for her work and caring for others. She always had a laugh and a joke for anyone she met.
She is survived by her father, Frederick White, brothers Les and Mahlon White, sister Julia White, her 2 dogs, Cocoa and Snuggles. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna May White.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Hinman Funeral Home, P.A. in Princess Anne, Md. where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Bonnie Stone will officiate.
