Milton Edwin Brimer of Princess Anne died Tuesday, February 12th at Peninsula Regional Medical Centerin Salisbury after a brief illness. He was born on October 11. 1930 and was the son of the late Milton and Marie Brimer.
He is survived by his wife Madeline Brimer and children Bruce Brimer(Amanda), Connie Dykes (Alan), and Karen Sparks (Rusty). Grandchildren; Caitlin Brimer, Mark Dykes, Matthew Dykes, Michael Dykes, Michelle Dykes, Andy Sparks and Jason Sparks. He had four great-grandchidren and, and two Sisters Grace Lankford and Florence Pickett. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Wendy Brimer.
Employed by Acme Markets for 39 years and upon retirement worked several years for Miles Toms Sales. Milton was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church in Princess Anne and was a dedicated member of the Peninsula Beagle Club, serving as Treasurer for many years. Milton owned several A.K.C. Field Champions. He was also a member of Wheels That Heal Car Club. He was especially proud of his 1972 yellow Super Beetle that he took to car shows and won numerous trophies. He was a member of the American Legion O.T. Beauchamp Post 94 , Princess Anne and was a United States Army Veteran.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday the 15th at 1:00 pm in the Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne. Rev. Norman Hancock will officiate.
