Obituary

Miles Everett Lawson, 58, of St. Stephens near Princess Anne, died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at his home.

Born in Salisbury on January 9, 1952, he was a son of Lucille Mae Lawson of St. Stephens and the late William E. "Ebb" Lawson.

Miles had worked as a truck driver and a member of St. Peters United Methodist Church and a former member of O. t. Beauchamp Post #94.

Besides his mother, he is survived by two brothers, David Lawson and wife Cynthia and Ray Lawson and wife Mary, all of Salisbury; nieces and nephews, Amy Smith and Glenn, William Ray Lawson, , Pamela Marie Lawson, Laura Angela Lawson, Carl Lee Lawson and Jamie and William Charles Lawson and Mary.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2pm at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. William Kniceley will officiate. Interment will be held in St. Peters United Methodist Cemetery in Oriole. Contributions in his memory may be made to St. Peters U. m.
