Michael A. Fisher, 58, of Princess Anne, died Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, after a courageous battle against Esophageal Cancer. Born October 26, 1956 in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Robert G. Fisher, Sr. and Elois Smith Fisher of Princess Anne.
Mike was an employee of Long Life Treated Wood in Hebron, MD. He was primarily a front-end loader driver and dedicated to his job. Mike was a great friend to everyone who knew him, especially those at Adams Ribs Restaurant in Fruitland. To his family, he was a wonderful son, brother and uncle.
Mike is survived by his mother Elois, his brothers, Randy Fisher and Rob Fisher (Theresa), a niece, Kerri Fisher and a great-niece Katelynn Fisher, all of Princess Anne, and a step-sister Vicky Heath of Baltimore.
He was preceded in death by his father Bob, his step-mother Geraldine, and a brother Mark Fisher all of Princess Anne.
A funeral service will be held at the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, on Friday, June 5th., at 1:00 pm. Friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in the Allen Cemetery. Rev. James Doran
will officiate.
