Maureen Catherine Thomas, 63 of here died on Saturday, July 28th at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in the Bronx, New York, she was a daughter of Anne Heron Jenkins ant the Late Ted Brown. Mrs. Thomas had been an Operator and Office administrator for Verizon. She had also worked for Chesapeake Paving of Parsonsburg following her retirement from Verizon. Her Late Husband was Daniel Thomas who died in 2007.
In addition to her Mother, She is survived by two children, a daughter and her husband, LIsa and Clay Brooks of East New Market and a son and his wife, Jimmy and Dawn Moorhead of Salisbury, three grandchildren, Clayton Brooks, Landon Moorhead and Christian Moorhead, a sister and her husband, Kelly and Chris Marlatt of Marion Station and two nephews, Tyler and Jordan Marlatt.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. Friends may call at the Funeral home Tuesday evening fron 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
