Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Dillon Taylor, 83, of Pocomoke City, formerly of Chance, died March 25, 2010 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.

Born on April 17, 1926 in Birmingham, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Edwin L. Dillon and Margaret Frances Peters Dillon. Her husband, Herman Bernard Taylor died August 29, 2003.

Mrs. Taylor was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by two sons Kenneth Martin of Newark DE and Joseph Bernard Taylor of Ellicott City; a daughter, Kathleen Marie Taylor Perry of Pocomoke City; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A late sister was Margaret Connor.


A mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday at 11am at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Pocomoke City. Father William Porter will be conducting the service. A visitation will be held Friday evening at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne from 7 to 9pm with a Christian wake held at 8pm. Interment will be held in Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne.
