Mary Ellen Ring
Fruitland; Mary Ellen Ring, 50 died Thursday at her home here. Born in Salisbury, she was a daughter of Catherine Ryan Horner Benton and the late Walton B. Horner, Jr. Mary Ellen was a Registered Nurse whose life was devoted to Nursing and her daughter, Danielle.
In addition to her Mother, she is survived by her daughter, Danielle Ring, at home, a brother, Stanley Horner and his wife, Karen of Chance, a sister, Carol Price and her husband Robert Lee and their son, Nicholas of Princess Anne. Two stepbrothers , Michael Benton and his wife Valerie of Milford, De. And John A. "Jackie" Benton of Wilmington, De. Two stepsisters, Debra Richardson and her husband Danny of Eden and Cindy Nelson and her husband John of Crisfield. Special friends are Jake and Judy Bernstein and their daughter Jessie of Salisbury. Her late stepfather was John A. "Jack" Benton.
A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1 : P.M. at the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne where friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Rev. Samuel Horner will officiate.
