Mary Elizabeth Mister, 79. of Deal Island died Monday, February 25th. Born in Wenona on November 1, 1933, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Evelyn Stines Taylor.
Mary spent her early years as a homemaker and raising her large family of eight children. She enjoyed spending her days attending and participating in the activities at the Deal Island Mac Center.
She is survived by two sons, Marion Mister and his wife Ruth, of Princess Anne, and John William Mister and his wife Martha Jane, of Wenona. Five Daughters, Joyce Williams and her husband Harvey, of Deal Island, Evelyn Louise Evans, of Crisfield, Alice Jane Webster, of Morriston, Tenn., Pansy Elaine Bradshaw, of Princess Anne, and Robin Lee Thomas and her husband Jeffrey, of Princess Anne, and one daughter in law Daryl Mister of Ellicott City. She is also survived by one brother, Ernie Taylor, of Princess Anne and many, Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband Mervin Mister, a son Richard Mister, three sisters and one brother.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 1st, at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Wenona where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Linwood "Sonny" Benton will Officiate.
