Crisfield - Mary Louise Catlin, 63, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026 at TidalHealth, with those who loved her most by her side.

Born in Salisbury, MD, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Addie Mae (Dize) Catlin. She grew up in Rumbley, Maryland. During her lifetime Mary was an expert pool player. She played in tournaments all across the country and in several leagues. She was rated as one of the best women players in the country at one time. Mary also loved fishing on her boat and spent many summers catching Rockfish. She also loved riding her Harley Davidson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William “Blue Dot” Catlin, sister Barbara Ford and infant sister, Deborah Catlin, nephews Brian Ford and William Catlin.

Mary is survived by her brother, Irving Catlin (Rumbley) and sister Robin Hancock (Westover), nieces, Chrissie Merrill, Deborah Catlin, Kara Davison, Amber Sterling, Billie Raye Burke, and nephew Aaron Catlin, as well as several great and great grand nieces and nephews. Although she never had any children of her own, she had a special place in her heart for her great nieces Cassidy Burke and Kerrington Thompson. She also leaves behind her cherished dog “Harley” and her cat “Casper”.

At her request she was cremated. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
