IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Ann
Bozman
June 26, 1935 – March 24, 2024
Frenchtown - Mary Ann Bozman, 88, of here passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, MD.
Born in Frenchtown, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Alice Marie (French) Dize. She worked with her late husband in the seafood business and was a homemaker. Mary Ann was a member of Christ UM Church in Fairmount prior to its closing. She was a member of the O.T. Beauchamp Post 94 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Princess Anne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Miles Bozman, Brother Frank Dize, Sister Pauline Bozman, Bother in Law, Vernon Bozman, and granddaughter Theresa Ennis.
Mary Ann is survived by her two children, Connie E. Denston and friend Dick of Mt. Vernon and Michael D. Bozman and his fiancé Pam of Fairmount, granddaughter Allison "Ali" Denston and her husband Eric of Pocomoke, nephews Denny Bozman and his wife Charlene, Brian Dize and his wife Kelly, niece Lisa Gemmel, great grandchildren, Scotty Ennis and his wife Hannah, and Brandon Wagner and his girlfriend Emily and sister-in-law Anna Dize.
Her great-grandson, Scotty said it best: Yesterday my family lost my great-grandmother. Some knew her as Mary Ann, I knew her as Mom Mom Crab. She was 88 years old and still tending crab floats and shedding crabs every season and was looking forward to starting again this April.
At maybe 4'10' she'd outwork anyone, and I hope I have at least half of that in me. Her entire life she lived in the same spot-on Frenchtown, but that life she lived how she chose every day. I don't think anyone could ask for more than that.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. The Rev. Dean Defino will officiate. Interment will be in Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne.
Contributions may be made to Fairmount Volunteer Fire Company, 27407 Fairmount Road, Westover, Md. 21871.
