Oriole – Marilyn Georgette Van Ginhoven, 79, of here passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Sterling Care Harbor Pointe in Salisbury, MD.
Born in Islip, NY on February 19, 1941, she was the daughter of the late George and Lillian (Simken) DeGray. She loved music and tending to her greenhouses.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Herbert Van Ginhoven and a daughter, Heidi Copeland.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lisse B. (William) Hall of Pocomoke, MD and Jennifer E. Wheeler of Atlantic, VA, grandchildren Billy Pruitt, Jamie Copeland, Brittany Vandergriff, Jake Copeland, Justin Ray, Jamie Elder, Jenny Wheeler, Mark Wheeler, Jonathan Wheeler, Zachary Hall and Skylar Baumann, and 12 great-grandchildren
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 12, 2021 at Hinman Funeral Home, P.A. 11673 Somerset Ave in Princess Anne, MD. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Pastor Jamie Devaughn will officiate. Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne, MD.
