Margaret Claudia Holland, 75, of Westover, died August 7, 2013, at the Hartley Hall Nursing Home in Pocomoke City. Born on September 1, 1937 in Somerset County, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Margaret Hall. Claudia was a Graduate of Washington High School and a member of the Christ United Methodist Church and WSCS in Upper Fairmount. She loved to cook, play bingo, travel, and her favorite was eating out at a variety of restaurants.
Claudia is survived by her husband Meredith "Murdock" Holland, two sons, David of Rumbley and Claude and his wife Lori, of Salisbury, two daughters, Nancy Tunney of Fruitland, and Paula Holland of Salisbury. Also surviving are her grandchildren, David Holland Jr. ,Chris Holland, Leah Hammond, Boone Tunney, Hunter Holland and Cody Holland, along with three great-grandchildren. also surviving are a brother Harry Halland his wife Cathy of Salisbury, sister in-laws, Hattie Miller of Princess Anne, Hazel Kroth of Kansas, Doris Malamed of Florida, Josephine Holland of Deal Island, and Anne Holland of Rumbley. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially her friends and nurses at Hartley Hall.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Hinman Funeral Home, in Princess Anne, on Saturday August 10th. at 1:00 PM. Friends may call from 11:00 till 1:00 PM. Interment will follow the service in the Beechwood Cemetery, in Princess Anne. Rev. Nolan ford will officiate.
