M. Ruth Bodley, 77, of Pocomoke died May 4, 2013 at The Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield, MD.. She was born in Pocomoke on Jan. 8, 1936, to the late Carl and Doris Butler Camp. Ruth graduated from the former Jefferson School of Commerce in Salisbury, worked for Storer Cable and retired as a Manager for Comcast Cable.
She is survived by her sisters, Nevada Jones, of Pocomoke, Carlye Carey of Pocomoke, Barbara Carlton of Redando Beach, CA, Allen Camp of Salisbury and Jayne Benson of Pocomoke, along with several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great- nephews and other loved ones.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, H. William Bodley JR.
A Memorial service will be held at the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD, on Tuesday May, 7th at 2:00 PM. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. A Private interment will be held in the First Baptist Cemetery in Pocomoke at a later Date.
