Lynne Marie Dryden, 58, died Friday, December 4, 2015 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, in Salisbury. Lynne was born on June 17, 1957 and was the daughter of the late Elmo and Lorraine Dryden of Pocomoke City, Maryland. Lynne graduated from Crisfield High School and attended Salisbury University before returning to the family farm where she enjoyed working. She then worked for Smithfield Foods in Virginia. She was a loving daughter and caretaker of her parents. Lynne was a member of Rehobeth Presbyterian Church near Westover, Maryland. Before her illness, she served as an active deacon and always prepared ice tea for all church dinners.
She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her brothers; Michael Dryden and his wife, Ginger, Larry Dryden and wife, Kathy, and Tommy Dryden and wife Joelle, five nephews, five great nieces, numerous cousins, and a special caretaker, Eugene "Sonny" Smith.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 1:00 PM, at the Rehobeth Presbyterian Church near Westover. Friends may call from 12:00 to 1;00 at the Church. The Rev. Kirk Dausman and David Parke will officiate. Interment will be private.
