Salisbury – Lois P. Hoffman, 97, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Alice B. Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield, MD.
Born in Salisbury, MD on September 12, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Mahlon and Orpah Price. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Hoffman in 1979, sister Una Denston and her husband Harry, brothers Bunky Price and his wife Ann, and Roger Price and his wife Becky, nephews Gary Denston, David Barnette, Jaye Price, Thomas Lee Barnette and late sister in law Sarah Barnette.
Lois worked several jobs during her life, but her most important job was being a wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, James and Pam Hoffman of Salisbury, MD, grandson Michael J. Hoffman and his wife Pam of Delmar, MD, nieces Elaine (Steve) Barnes and Joe Ann Price, and nephews John (Denise) Barnette, and Robert (Carol) Price.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Asbury United Methodist Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Rev. Steve Willing will officiate.
