Linda Chamberlin Ford passed away on .Saturday, June 1, 2013 at her home.. She is survived by her husband Michael Ford of Fairmount MD; three daughters, Christina Winstead of Rocky Mount NC, Katie Winstead of Pasadena MD, and Chelsea Ann Ford of Pocomoke, MD

She is also survived by her parents; John & Karen Chamberlin of Fort Myers FI and Barbara Ardowski of TN; her sister and brother in law Elaine & George Albertocki of Rumbley MD; her sister Vicki Ardowski of TN and her brother Scott Chamberlin of Pidgeon Forge TN. She is also survived by Aunts and Uncles Judy & Wayne Bozman of Rumbley MD and David and Nit Brown of Fairmount MD; along with numerous cousins.

Linda served as a Staff Sergeant in the USAF for over ten years as an Air
Transportation Specialist with tours in Madrid Spain, Tacoma Washington and Okinawa Japan. She
continued her air transportation career in 2002 as a Supervisory Transportation Security Specialist with
the Transportation Security Administration working at the Salisbury-Ocean City, Wicomico Regional
Airport through February 2013. She was proud of her 21 years of government service and loved her job.
Linda was a NASCAR fan, enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending time with her family. In earlier
years, Linda was an avid sailor and competed in hobie cat races with her father. She also enjoyed
swimming and was a life guard for several years.

A graveside Service) will be held on Wednesday ,June 5th, at 11: 00 AM in the Fairmount Cemetery in Fairmount.
