Princess Anne – Linda Lou Barnette, 71, of here passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, MD
Born in Salisbury, MD on March 28, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Charles Jones. Linda worked retail as a sales associate for 19 years at Boscov's where she made many friends over the years. She was a charter member of the Mt. Vernon Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Wm. David Barnette, brother Thomas James of Pocomoke and sister Debbie Wilson of Pocomoke, and late brother in law, Thomas Lee Barnette.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Barnette of Cambridge, MD, son Bryan Barnette of Mt. Vernon, MD, grandson Peyton Barnette and brother in law John Barnette and his wife Denise of Mt. Vernon, MD and grand puppies Charlotte & Odin.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Asbury U.M. Cemetery in Mount Vernon, MD. Rev. Laura Dorsey will officiate.
